On a rather cool and foggy morning, definitely not a day for driving a Morgan, 12 intrepid Donmoggers arrived at the Jurassic Cove Golf centre for a very welcome coffee and 18 holes of crazy golf.
Sadly Liz could not join us because of plumbing problems (make what you will of that!).
Carol kept watch to ensure fair play and no cheating as 5 girls competed against 6 boys for putting victory. We were also watched over by almost lifesize dinosaurs and had dire warnings to avoid the water traps! Not sure if the CCTV caught Paul retrieving a ball from the stream!
4 holes in one (hole in ones?) were achieved: 3 by the girls (Jenny 2 Lorraine 1) and 1 by the boys, me!
Best overall score was Jenny but the boys were the winning team.
Afterwards we retired to The Nuttall, a very nice pub a mile away for a delicious lunch only marred by Jim’s lack of soup.
