Morgan Challenge – Donington Park

13th April 2025

We had a great turnout to celebrate the Morgan Challenge’s first race of their 40th Season at Donington. There were 26 race cars and almost as many Donmog and other visiting Morgans. A great day was had by all and there was even birthday cake and balloons. The Morgan Challenge racers were very appreciative of the support (and I think, surprised at how many of us turned out to wave the flag).

I was really impressed with the racing which included a range of other classic car groups and harked back to the early days of Morgan when racing was an important factor in establishing brand identity and product leadership for the company. It was also good to see Morgans thrashing some of the bigger and more powerful cars which shared the track.

Well done Morganeers.

A big thank you to those who volunteered to help me set up the gazebo and to Phil and Keith for eating most of the cake.
